how are you gonna hire 20 million new people when the store's not even making money AND you're cutting employees hours that already work
there.. does that make sense? 'cause i honestly don't think it does.. Mood:

Then you're right; they have no idea what they're doing.

Travis is wrong, Forever 21 doesn't do benfits to begin with. 401 K after a year, but that's for everyone, regardless of hours. And saving
money by hiring new guys still doesn't make much sense because they start new associates at $10 an hour. They give them a 50 cent raise or so
every year (supposed to be 6 months but managers apparently don't read the handbook) which I spit on. It makes essentially no difference who you
throw out there.

i haven't been getting benifits since i've worked there. i've never gotten even CLOSE to full-time or part-time. i just think it's
rediculous to hire people when you're cutting back hours.. kinda defeats the whole purpose.
as for talking about other employees, i definately know who NOT to say things to. i just kinda keep to myself for the most part anyways, makes things
a lot easier that way.

They're actually saving money by hiring new help because they don't make as much hourly. Also, the less hours you have, the less benefits
they have to give you.

Word of advice, don't belittle/talk about your bosses to anyone. Including work friends. I had that happen to me. I was on aim, talking to a
friend from work and the bitch took everything I said, posted it on her myspace and another coworker printed it out and showed the boss. I'm not
saying you yourself do that, but yeah.. Just be careful.

I hear ya. Build-A-Bear did the same thing. They hired 44 people, and only had like 3 people work all the time. I was always offering to stay after
hours to help in case someone got sick. Finally I had enough and called coperate offices. My boss got mad, and totally cursed me out. But what
coperate told me and what she told me was a complete 360. She said that we were in compition with the other stores and they were cutting hrs.
Meanwhile coperate said they hired too many people. Needless to say, I told my boss where she can stick my job and quit.

Forever 21 never makes sense. They did this when I worked there. I was constantly getting 3 days a week even though I had nearly open availability.
Their business ethics, the way they treat employees and their favoritism has always been questionable. I couldn't take it anymore so I quit.

The business is trying to get enough employees so they can get help from the government, they're falling, and the only way out is with help,
they're losers, I'd suggest getting another job.
